A new director for Health Insurance in Ille-et-Vilaine – Rennes



As announced, Claudine Quéric has left her position as director of the Primary Health Insurance Fund (CPAM) in Ille-et-Vilaine. And we now know who succeeded him. This is Jean-Baptiste Calcoen, who took office on June 1. Aged 46, he was until then director of the national Contact Tracing mission at the National Health Insurance Fund (Cnam), as part of the Covid crisis.

A graduate of the National School of Social Security, the new director has spent a large part of his career in the CPAMs: Côte d’Or (2000), llle-et-Vilaine, already as deputy director ( 2006) then deputy director (2011) and Mayenne (2015-2020), which he directed. The Ille-et-Vilaine CPAM has 887 employees for more than one million insured persons, including 30,000 students and 30,000 civil servants. In addition to his management functions, Jean-Baptiste Calcoen coordinates risk management for Brittany.
