Amazon takes another step into the future. At the heart of an era where the sneaker market continues to grow, the American giant is optimizing its features and unveiling a new, smart way to make up your mind to choose a pair of sneakers.
“Amazon Fashion’s goal is to create innovative experiences that make online fashion shopping easier and more enjoyable for customers.”
Simply named “Virtual Try-On for Shoes”, Amazon’s new feature introduces augmented reality, allowing you to try on thousands of models from numerous brands like adidas, Reebok, New Balance and others.
Forcing interactivity and providing a new way for brands to present their products, this feature already made its debut in 2019 with the Wanna Kicks application, or the GOAT sales platform. Amazon decides to follow the movement, and intends to extend its service to more models and brands while improving the experience over time, as Muge Erdirik Dogan, president of Amazon Fashion explains: “Amazon’s objective Fashion is to create innovative experiences that make online fashion shopping easier and more enjoyable for customers. We’re excited to launch Virtual Try On for shoes, so customers can try on thousands of styles from brands they know and love at their convenience, wherever they are. We look forward to listening to our customers’ feedback and learning from it to continue improving the experience and offering more makes and models.”
