In Roquefort-les-Pins, another ten families are deprived of internet connections and landline telephones. It’s been seven days this Tuesday.

Since the unfortunate section by a construction excavator of large fiber cables last Tuesday.

While the vast majority of the 2,300 impacted customers have been gradually reconnected, there are still a handful of web castaways stranded today. They were still around sixty on Tuesday.

These are in particular SFR subscribers who depend on the Orange cabinet. However, the management of Orange claimed to have completed the repairs incumbent on it.

Individual treatment

Following the intervention of SFR technicians, all the pooling points were recovered on Tuesday.

According to SFR management, “Orange had reversed the fibers, hence the problems that persisted. Our technician carried out a fiber inversion on two concentration points which allowed 40 customers to find their network. There are currently only about ten customers left still affected, which are the subject of an ongoing individual treatment campaign”.
