Urssaf is joining forces with Family Allowances, Retirement Insurance and Health Insurance to deploy Help!, its new support offer for entrepreneurs in difficulty.
It all started with one observation: there are social aids to support entrepreneurs in difficult times. But the latter make little or no use of it, often by lack of knowledge. Another problem: because of the close intertwining between the professional and private lives of business leaders, payment difficulties self-employed workers often go beyond Urssaf’s sole jurisdiction.

Promoting access to social rights
Result? To improve the supported entrepreneurs when they encounter financial, medical, family or social difficulties, Urssaf has partnered with health insurance, family allowances and retirement insurance. Together, the four entities launched Help!: a support offer coordinate and accelerate.
In detail, Help! takes the form of a online quiz. Entrepreneurs, craftsmen, merchants and liberal professionals can report a complicated situation by responding 10 questions. The results of the questionnaire are then transmitted to the various funds. The latter can then identify the best-suited devices (complementary health care, active solidarity income, activity bonus, etc.) and then process the file quickly to activate these aids as quickly as possible.
Social aid: these 10 billion euros that the French forget to claim each year
Thanks to this new device, it becomes possible to combine the different levers of action of each network (social benefits, social action, social support, payment schedules, etc.) to promote better access to rightscare and social assistance, explains Urssaf in a press release dated June 16.
Help! had been the subject of experiments in the Marne department from February 2020. The system should present extend to the whole territory. And the first feedback seems encouraging. In Languedoc-Roussillon, the system has, for example, enabled a couple working in the construction sector to obtain new rights when her child fell ill, reports the radio RTS.
