The winning team, consisting of Mathis Blackburn and Marc Antoine Caron, got the top prize of $400. The members of the jury particularly appreciated the analysis, explanations and involvement of the winning team. We should also mention the participation of another finalist team in the activity, that of Mathis Ageorges and Mickaël Garneau, who won the second prize of $100.
The Prize for Excellence in Road Technology promotes the influence of students in civil engineering technology, while offering them the opportunity to discover the work of public works technicians from the Ministère des Transports. It is part of partnership agreements between the Department and the various CEGEPs in the province that offer the Civil Engineering Technology program. These partnership projects allow the dynamic promotion of jobs and internships in the Quebec public service, provide educational support in the school environment and allow the promotion of students.
